As part of the medical insurance policy, you can also get coverage for accidents involving yourself or your car. Any Indian citizen between the ages of 5 months and 65 years can apply for this policy. Nevertheless, renewals are only available after 65 years.
There are many benefits offered to policyholders by the policy. Among them are hospital coverage, non-allopathic treatments, emergency ambulance services, fees for surgeons, anesthetists, consultants, medical practitioners, or specialists, as well as coverage for boarding or nursing costs, pre-existing diseases, and pre-and post-hospitalization care.
In a given year, you may file as many claims as you like. The sum insured, however, is the policy's upper limit.
